Now I am. Avery Johnson has this team prepared to go all the way. I took Bacchus Jr. to the game tonight against the Hornets and was extrememly impressed. Daniels is playing better defense, Josh Howard is back to old form and Dirk now knows how to pass out of the double teams. Look out East Coast……..

I don’t know… The Spurs are known for making last minute come-backs. I have always loved Avery, ever since he first played for the Spurs, and he’s done a very good job with Dallas, especially since he just FELL into the coaching job, but he’s got a lot of competition in his former team-mates. The good thing for him is that he knows what he’s up against.
I’m on the fence between the two teams, but I have to lean a bit toward the defending champs.
Hope Jr enjoyed the game as much as Daddy did!
I have had season tickets for a couple of years and this is the first year I can take BJ and he actually enjoy the game. He was content as long as he got popcorn and twizzlers.
I too am an Avery Johnson fan since his playing days in SA, and was estatic when he got the head coaching job in Dallas last year.
Sorry, but the Spurs are in trouble and will loose to the Mavs in the second round if, I say if, the Spurs get to the second round…..
