If it’s not one thing, it’s another

Now we are getting rain storms and complete power outages. Not Brown-Outs, but loss of power for multiple hours at a time.  This weather has really got me in a funky mood……Annoyed

weather here is just getting screwier than ever…..
we had nice soaking rain….lots of thunder but that’s about all…lucky us

Ok, what is a brownout? I’ve been calling them blackouts…what’s the difference? And yeah, they suck. Especially when nobody warns you about them, they just start cutting off all the traffic lights IN THE MIDDLE OF FREAKING RUSH HOUR. What is up with that???

Well, you probably do need the rain since you’ve been in a heat wave … but yeah, blackouts are a pain in the butt! I’m assuming the storms are causing the blackouts?

SMIT I think brownouts are “planned” blackouts by the local power company. A way for the power companies to control power consumption by doing rolling blackouts or brownouts to different area’s of a city or area.
