What’s Been Going On……

I know I haven't posted in a while so this should help everyone get caught up.  Sorry for the absence, but the public/private school issue emotionally drained me to a point I never thought possible.  I never thought fatherhood could change a person in ways that it has, but there is something monumental when something goes wrong with your child.

Public vs. Private School

The major reason I have been away from the blogosphere is that we have gone through a traumatic experience of pulling BJ (Bacchus Jr.) out of public school and into a private one.  BJ was having trouble adjusting to the new environment and began having a very negative image of school.  More details forthcoming

I'm Having an Affair

I got a IPod Nano…..I visit her five days a week without MB (Mommy Bacchus) anywhere to be found

I've Learned to Recycle BJ's  DVD's

Movies BJ found as amusing as a toddler now seem hilarious now that he is in kindergarten.

Church Keeps Us Busy

I have volunteered for Children's Ministry on Sunday's and help out with Wednesday Church.  All I can say is, "Teachers need a Raise." So please give your child's teacher a hug today, or apple, or a movie gift card, or something….They deserve it and then some.

MB is Still Pregnant

Mommy Bacchus is still pregnant and this day and age, we count  that as a blessing. She has the usual, swelling, big-belly, lack of energy etc…..We have been busy getting the baby room together and pulling all the stuff we saved from BJ's birth

I've been thinking about Changing "Parenting Toys"

I originally thought I would write about toys and products I found as a father raising his son, but has evolved more about me, Bacchus.  A father with varied interests that loves raising his son.

Sports Events

I took BJ to a Professional soccer and basketball game.  We had a wonderful time at both and wish every father would do this at least once with their child.
